We must decide today what is important, if we are truly concerned about leaving behind a viable future for our children. Now is the time to make a change. As we have our own little family ourselves. we look at our daughter and realise our legacy is our children and their environment they will live in. The small changes we make now will change what their future will be.
Climate change will have a direct effect on our children and grandchildren if we don't do something today.
What legacy will you leave behind?

It is important to us to provide products which have been grown and reared in harmony with the environment to produce a regenerative and carbon negative farming system which works hand in hand with nature. For example we have rewilded unproductive land, creating more hedge rows and planting wild flowers and increasing wetland habitat with a variety of crops in the fields that are beneficial to the wildlife and the soil structure beneath. In our permanent pastures we have over seeded with a wide variety of herbs, grasses and different types of lagumes which provide lots of different foods for worms, insects and birds this hand in hand supports the microorganisms in the soil which helps to lock carbon and helps replace nitrogen use helping the environment.
This is nothing new. We have been here before. Our ancestors were farming symbiotically with nature and the environment producing food locally and sustainably with no added preservatives and man-made chemicals.

Founders; Natalie and James Duerden, this has been a huge dream of ours. Our family has been involved in farming and agriculture for over five generations. Our family previously owned a wholesale meat company which supplied meat to major retail outlets all over the UK. While having an insight into the current food system we saw huge flaws
Founders; Natalie and James Duerden, this has been a huge dream of ours. Our family has been involved in farming and agriculture for over five generations. Our family previously owned a wholesale meat company which supplied meat to major retail outlets all over the UK. While having an insight into the current food system we saw huge flaws which inspired us to create a better food system! Ensuring low food miles, traceability, sustainability and high welfare.
Animal welfare is at the forefront of everything we do. We work hand in hand with nature to produce sustainable, high quality and environmentally friendly produce for everyone to enjoy!
